So based on a new video posted by daplunk I found a cool way to make my life easier. Before even loading a combat, I can start a new combat with just my group. this way they are the only ones in the list and i get easily get all their initiatives entered. Once thats done I can load a por file from within realm works and its lists all the new ones at the bottom I can give them all the same initiative and then add them to combat.

In daplunks video he shows this for large combats but if you use the same technique fro any combat it will make things so much easier.

Thanks for the vid series!!!!.

I was so happy when I figured this out.

That session would have been screwed otherwise.

Since you guys are talking about the tactical console, question for you guys:

- Is it possible to edit how the console behaves or the information displayed in it?

I'm asking because for 5e, there's nothing that shows how many attacks you have. In pathfinder, multiple attacks are showed with the penalty for multiple attacks (-5). It would be really nice if you have Extra Attack to see it displayed in the console instead of having to look into the special abilities.

Absolutely no idea sorry. Not sure how that would work given alot of the extra attacks in 5e come from using other abilities. Would add a layer of micro-management that I would avoid.

From everything I know about HL and its underlying logic the TC can not be adjusted or changed by anyone outside of LW. Its sort of like the core character sheets in that they can not be adjusted outside of LW.

Great tip! Didn't know about the tactical console integration. I always added to the open POR, started the TC and after the battle used the option to remove all enemies.

If only we could bulk set initiative for all enemies. While I can see the advantage of having all enemies go at the same time, I don't want to slow things down by setting their initiatives. I just go with the random initiative set by the TC. I do, however, allow the players roll and I manually set their initiative—but that's less disruptive since I can update almost as fast as they roll.
