With both my paladin's mount and the light riding horse I've noticed some errors.
1) If a mount has a weapon in it's saddlebag the printout shows the weapon as if the mount were wielding it. That's silly. Same is true for "unarmed combat" even though that's covered by the hooves/bite. 2) If Horseshoes of Speed or Horseshoes of the Zephyr are purchased there is no way to 'activate' them to show that they are being worn. For the Horseshoes of Speed this makes a difference as they add 30 ft/round to the base speed & jumping distance of the horse. 3) The weight shown on screen for each set of horseshoes is double what the text bubble says. The values cited in the text are correct. The printout shows that the software is using the INCORRECT value for weight calculation. Once again, love the product & keep up the good work, Nigel Fogg, aka The Wayfarer...or in this case Hans the Paladin from Diamond Lake Last edited by Nigel Fogg The Wayfarer; January 22nd, 2010 at 04:26 PM. |

First off, thanks for posting the update today.
Looks like the fix for the horseshoes and weapons/unarmed cmbt problem is still in the works. Ah well, it'll get in there eventually. keep up the good work. Nigel Fogg, aka The Wayfarer...or in this case Hans the Paladin from Diamond Lake |

Just bringing this back to the top of the list to ensure it hasn't been forgotten.
Keep up the good work. |

Hmm, I guess the fix for the two types of magical horseshoes (a selector box for each and +30 to base SPEED for the Horseshoes of Speed) didn't make it into this latest update.
Also it is still trying to say my Paladin's warhorse can wield the lance that is being carried by the horse. |

I know you said Item # 1 was too tricky. Just wondering if there's been any progress on Items # 2 & # 3? Nigel Fogg, aka The Wayfarer Last edited by Nigel Fogg The Wayfarer; August 19th, 2010 at 07:43 AM. |

#2 and #3 are small pieces of a full magic item and regular item check-and-fix project - that's a big project, and I'm not sure when I'll be able to schedule that.
Those are easily fixed in the editor though, if you wanted to create replacement copies for your own use. |

I took a stab at trying to fix the Horseshoes of Speed. Failed. However, Lawful G came to the rescue!!! I think it would be a good idea for you to get the file from him, so it can be included in the next update. Nigel Fogg, aka The Wayfarer |

Very old post I know, but I see Horseshoes of Speed are still not wearable by the mount. I used workaround, Perm Adjustment, Speed +30, so nothing urgent, but perhaps this could be fixed--see Horseshoes of Zephr have same issue.

In the future a re-check of all magic items and support for magic item designs from say the MIC will happen. That would be a good place to work on this then.
