Ok for some time I've given players a weapon or item hat increases in power as they level.
Example: Roget's Sword of Flame Dancing lvl 1 +1 lvl 3 add flaming lvl 5 +2 lvl 6 add dancing lvl 9 +1 Fortitude Save lvl 10 +3 lvl 12 add keen lvl 15 +4 lvl 18 add DR 5/AlL lvl 20 +5 So short of recreating it each lvl, any way to code it in? |

You don't have to recreate it. Just click on the little tool icon by the weapon and add or change the things that you want. Sure it is a bit more work than if it was all automatic. But then you would not have the headache trying to figure the code.
Also it gives more control on what you do to the sword. Last edited by Angela2013; November 3rd, 2011 at 08:15 PM. |

Yea I was going to say the same thing. Just use a custom/magic weapon and add the bonus/ability at the correct level. Boom done!
