I love the Words of Power system. I also love playing spontaneous casters, which seem to especially benefit from the Words of Power system. So I've put some time into learning Hero Lab and have tracked down and Hero Lab-ized all the Words of Power supplements that I can find. That includes:
Now I have two questions. First, can I or even should I put these up for download? I'd like to spread the Words of Power love, but I don't know what the issue is with these things, as far as legality is concerned. I bought all these supplements fair and square, but if I put them up for download they'd be free. The second question is, are there any other Words of Power materials that I'm missing? I'd love to see the system expanded even further. |

What "exactly" do you mean by this? If you mean put the pdfs up for others to download for free then NO that is totally illegal to do. You can check the OGL to see what can be shared and not. Most likely the "text" and rules is OGL and if you wanted you could take the text and freely put it on a wiki like d20pfsrd.
As your asking on the HL Forums my better guess is you want to redistribute the contents as .user files. If the .user files are included in the download you got/purchased then NO you can NOT redistribute it. But if you create your own .user files of the content then you can freely redistribute the data. This is do different than how the community has Ultimate Psionics, Path of War, and SGG packages available. The one big one I NEVER distribute by the way is the images from the pdf or even from Paizo. The art usually costs more then the whole book and even Paizo will go after people that redistribute their art work. Hope that helps. yes, i meant to put up the .user files that I created for download.
And there aren't even any images in those PDFs. They were bare-bones. |

If this is Hero Lab implementations of books published by others, I recommend editing your post to remove the download links until you can contact the publishers. Tell them you've implemented their work, and you'd like to make it available to others, who, like yourself, have bought and use their work. Then the owners of the copyrights can decide how they want to handle that.

As part of the new community packages one will be designed to hold all 3PP material and this would be a perfect fit to what would go in it.
