Hi,
I know I have asked before and I know there is a work around, but I am not finding it. Can anyone point me to the work around for making spell damage rolls in Hero Lab? It's getting annoying to have to switch to another program for the damage rolls. (I prefer dice rollers since my dice luck is so abysmal 😉 ) Thanks -Erich |

Hero Lab has a built in dice roller under the tools menu. I believe ShadowChemosh has something that mimics spells as weapons as part of this adjustments file, so that's another option.

I think I may need to find ShadowChemosh's file. I don't think the iPad version has a tools section.

Pathfinder Pack install it. Turn on "ShadowChemosh Adjustments" in the configure your hero. Go to Adjust tab and in the spells section add the '- Custom Spell Weapon -' adjustment. Select the type of spell affect (touch, range touch, AoE) and fill in the damage dice.
If you have this on a iPad HL will see the values and allow them to be rolled. If on desktop/paper it will at least print the information to remind you what to roll. So, will this load directly to an iPad or does it need to be downloaded to HL on a computer first?
