Well, yes and no.
The Tactical Console manages initiative and helps with damage. What it doesn't do is things like have a single button to make attack rolls or saving throws directly in the console. The dice-roller function is not specific to any game system or type of roll. |

That is true, and why I use the Combat Manager more often. It does handle conditions and spells better than CM, though. It is a bit of a trade-off. I will likely start using d20Pro for most of my combat, mainly because I will be using it for my map anyway.

I finally got to use it in actual play and I had a blast. I had it set up on new initiative each round and it felt much more organic and free flowing than normal play. I'll need to prep a little bit more to make sure that the adversaries are using the same variant rules that I am, but other than that I had a blast and the way combat rolled along, I think my players really liked it too.
