Hi all,
I have too many monsters appearing in the Encounter Builder. I have purchased the "Tome of Horrors Complete", but I do NOT have it selected in the "Configure Hero" panel. I am seeing monsters from that source in the Encounter Builder, and I do not want to see them there. This applies for other sources as well. For instance, typing "Giant Frog" into the search box shows 4 basic forms of Giant Frog, not including the celestial or Fiendish versions. (one of the versions shows (tohc) after the name in the smaller second line of text. Frog, Giant Giant frog - N medium animal - Bestiary Frog, Giant Giant fro (tohc) - N Medium animal - The Tome o Giant Frog N Medium animal Giant Frog N Medium animal - Bestiary Giant Frog (celestial) Celestial giant frog - N Medium animal Giant Frog (fiendish) Fiendish giant frog - N Medium animal |

The EB don't look at "sources" only packages. To not see the ToHC monster you will need to disable the package. Go to "Develop->Enable" then go to 'Develop->Choose Supplement Packages...' and un-select the ToHC.
Now then when you restart your Hero Lab will act in ALL ways as if you do not own the ToHC license. So you won't be able to get to ANYTHING to deal with ToHC. That is the only way I know to get the EB to not include something. Wow, that is a heavy-handed approach to the problem.
Due to switching on the "right-click" tooltip from the debugging menu (I only found out about this option today), I can see that the 3 giant frogs which still appear are from various "CB - summon monster II.stock", "CB - nature's ally II.stock", etc.) Is there a way to reduce the list of .stock files appearing in the Encounter Builder? I'm guessing the CB .stock files are less useful nowadays, as there isn't a simple "import stock character" any more. |

"Develop->Import Stock Hero..." You mean other than that option?
