These are "Stock" files and need to go into your
Data Folder to use.
You can always find the "
data" folder containing the user files by going to the Tools menu within Hero Lab and choosing
Explore Folders->Program Data Folder. Once this new folder comes up you drop a copy of the .stock files into that directory.
Then to use them you go to "
Portfolio->Import Stock Hero". This will bring up a list of all the stock files that are available for import.
