Wielding Smaller Weapons

Hi, I'm creating a character that wields small items. He grew, but his weapons did not. Medium Halflling Fighter, Small +1 Returning Throwing Axes.

Why is Hero Lab saying "You can't use this weapon, because it's the wrong size for you." I have the necessary proficiency, isn't it just supposed to calculate a -2 modifier on attack rolls and damage?

Did I forget to enable something?

When wielding weapons of a different size, the attack penalty isn't the only thing that changes. The amount of effort (light/1H/2H) required also shifts one or more steps, and if it shifts outside that range the item in question is no longer effectively wieldable as a weapon.

So, since throwing axes are already light weapons, you being larger pushes them one step easier into not usability.
