Why is HL asking me to choose a second feat for a Level 1 Elven Ranger?

I'm adding all my players' characters into HL for a new campaign we're starting, and one of the characters is an elven ranger. HL is telling me he is supposed to start with 2 feats, which is incorrect as far as I can tell. Rangers don't get the combat feat until 2nd level, and elves don't get a bonus feat at 1st level. The player didn't take any flaws yet to gain extra feats, so there should only be one feat available. Under the Adjust tab, I added two extra feat slots, because I allow all Dex-based characters to take Weapon Finesse and Agile Maneuvers for free as a house rule, but the program was asking me to input a second starting feat before I even went to the Adjust tab, so that's not the cause of it. Any ideas why it is doing that?

Do you have the "Advanced Player's Guide Hero Points" rules turned on? If so, did you check "Don't Use Hero Points" below your starting cash? If you did both of these it disables "Hero Points" and gives you a bonus feat as per the APG anti-hero rules.
