Why am I flat-footed?

I have noticed that when I hover over my character's AC, Hero Lab tells me my character is flat-footed. No matter how often I tick/untick the Flat-Footed condition, this message does not go away.

Can someone please tell me what is going on?

It is probably applying some other Pathfinder rule which results in you being flat-footed.

Are you heavily encumbered?

I have a vague memory of something like this...

Open up the tactical console and check that you character has taken an action.

It opens a new window with a blurb about how this is supposed to help GM/DM run encounters. I have no idea on how to use this... Sorry.

Add another hero to the portfolio and then open the Tactical Console. It looks like you started a combat somehow... So hit the End Combat button.

It doesn't answer the question as to why you are flat footed, but Aaron's suggestion worked for me. I went to the encounter builder, added a monster to the portfolio, then brought up the tactical console and hit "End Combat." After that, your character wasn't flat-footed anymore.

This is only a guess, but maybe he got the hero exported to this portfolio from a larger one maintained by the DM, perhaps mid-combat? I'm not sure how he could have started a combat in a single character portfolio.

Aye, had a look through and can't find anything else causing it.

You mentioned a lot of house rules, was just wondering (more for interest than anything) whether the initiative boost adjustments were due to a house ruling, or a misunderstanding?

You're already getting +2 initiative from one of the two traits, the other isn't stacking because they're the same type of bonus, and then you appear to be adding +2 on top for each trait.

Also, I noticed the +4 concentration, I assume you're aware that the reason Combat Casting doesn't add to it automatically is because it only applies to defensive casting?

As I said, just vague wonderings. You seem to also have a lot of sources I don't, so there might be something that caused it that I'm missing.

Thanks this helped me.
I did Ctrl+T and did have an active combat. Ending combat fixed the two characters who were showing up as Flat Footed.

I had previously checked the Conditions tab, so I was pretty confused.
