I'm not sure this is the correct thread for this, but I'm kitbashing Pathfinder for a homebrew, and I'd like to make use of Hero Lab for character creation. However, one of the big changes is that weapons (melee, ranged and thrown; i.e., not spell damage) increase in base damage at levels 8, 15, 22 and 29 (the homebrew also adds support for up to class level 35). Specifically, only the weapon's base damage, not the STR modifier or weapon enhancement bonus damage, etc. is increased.
For example, a fighter with an 18 strength wielding a longsword at level 1 would deal 1d8+4 damage. In the homebrew, the longsword would deal 2d8 at 8th level, for total damage of 2d8+4 (since STR damage is unchanged). At 15th, this becomes 3d8, etc.
Level Base Damage
1-7 1d8
8-14 2d8
15-21 3d8
22-28 4d8
29+ 5d8
If someone would be kind enough to tell me how to do this across all weapons, rather than individual weapons, I would be deeply grateful. Even telling me as little as "it's a <bootstrap> in the <class> tab" or whatever (I'm confident that's wrong) would be really helpful. I don't even know where to start.
Thanks,
Nuada
