Wand of Magic Missile Question

Here's a really dumb question, but I can't find an answer anywhere. When I'm creating a Wand (e.g. of Magic Missile), what does the multiplier after it mean? For example, I can create a "Wand of Magic Missile (x2)" for 1500 GP, but it's still CL1. Does that allow it to cast 2 missiles per charge, even though it's only CL1? The CL3 version of the wand (which is where I'd expect to get 2 missiles) is 2250 GP. I was thinking it might just be shorthand for creating multiple items at once, but it only adds one 1500 GP wand to the inventory.

No dumb questions. I believe that's an artifact of us using the same UI element for displaying spells in both Wands and Classes. The incrementer is for the number of times the spell is memorized, and I think there should be a tag applied by the custom wand to hide that. I suspect it's a bug, you should report it.

Not 100% sure on the coding side of things, but price wise that looks like not adjusting the cl, but the number of wands bought.

The notations given, ie: Wand of Magic Missiles x2 CL3 would mean two(as a quantity) Wands of Magic Missile at a Caster Level of 3.

It becomes more obvious what's going on mathematically speaking when you use a wand of a higher spell level.
A wand of a second level Spell has a base price of 4500, (750 x 2nd level x 3rd caster level) so ticking the first number "buys" 2 wands for a total cost of 9k, where as ticking the caster level up to 4 brings the total cost to 6k.

Edit: So yeah, if it's only putting one wand down when it says x2 then it's a bug. Pricing is right for buying two wands though...
