Yep, I'm downloading it as I write this.

One fine day in the middle of the night, David <Zaggor@btinternet.com>
got up to write:

I'm waiting for Rob to send me a couple of files back before releasing
them. 40K and Mordheim files will be up tomorrow at the latest.

And not to beat a dead horse (since the web site is in flux) but when will
the upgrade be available for us to pay for?

As much as I like the idea of downloading software and registering
it, which is what I did for the previous version several years back,
I'm going to opt for the CD version.

It seems to me that the portability of the CD and attendant data
disks and upgrades simply is the best solution for the needs of
Army Builder. This is particularly prevalent when you are
participating in tournaments and don't have access to your
computer but need to make quick changes to your armylist.
Invariably, a computer can be found nearly everywhere now,
whether it's a friend with a laptop (which was the case for me in
Chicago for the GT in may) or there will be a local copy center
which has computers to use. Perhaps you even managed to borrow
a laptop to bring with you. Or perhaps you are gaming at your
friend's place and decide to change your list. The CD is just so
convenient, in that regard. Then there are the issues with
reinstalling your operating system, etc. and as good as Rob's
response time is, sometimes it is a hassle. Though Rob has never
steered me wrong, I've been biting my nails once or twice hoping
he gets to me in time.

It may cost me a few dollars more, but that investment is
worthwhile, I think. I'll probably pick up mine in a few weeks.

Cheers, Rob. I do love the program. I can't wait to see the new
version.

Nick
