VDR Question

You need the VDR rules, which are in Chapter Approved 2004 (US edition, the UK version didn't include them).

The VDR part of AB is a simple unit entry that allows setting stats and cost, but doesn't actually validate anything. If you enable the option, there is a VDR unit in the selection - you can add this to your roster and give it a name and set it's stats.

I do have an online VDR calculator at http://www.ageofstrife.com/tools/vdr , however this still requires the actual printed VDR rules from GW to understand what the options mean.
 
I can't take credit for it, the original was written by a member of RGMW (rec.games.miniatures.warhammer newsgroup) and when they removed it from their site I asked if I could host it on mine. I've adjusted it to fix bugs that were present in the original. Don't forget that it's next to useless without the actual VDR from Chapter Approved 2004 though.
