Valuation Profile problem

The valuation profile tells me I need 962 cards (LotR-LotK commons). Hmmm,
I don't think I need quite that many (only 4 of each).

Okay, I add *1* card. I now need 960. Add *1* more card and it's 958.

I suspect the maths being performed is sum(Acquire + Target - Owned),
instead of sum(Acquire).

I've just done a simple test on an empty inventory, and I can't see the
problem. Could you perhaps work out a way to reproduce this (preferably on
an near-empty inventory) and post it here for me to follow?
