Validation Errors

First off, might I say "SQUEEEEE!" over the upcoming Authoring Kit. Yeah! Now, the problem at hand. I have two characters in my group who's sheets are generating validation errors when I don't see a rule problem. One of them is a guy with Vibration Control. He added Super-Sense (tremorsense) as an alternate power (I already know about permanent powers, bear with me). He gave the power the duration flaw and lowered it to concentration. He can only use his Tremorsense when he concentrates (he got this idea off of Avatar). Now, I know that permanent powers cannot be part of arrays given their nature of not turning off. However, this power (as I understand it) is no longer a permanent power. So, am I missing something?

Second, I have a mystic character who has a magical weapon (device) that fires spirit blasts. The character can also skinwalk (metamorph) into animals. We put in that he loses the ability to use his magical weapon while skinwalking (seemed reasonable), but the computer says that Device cannot take the powerloss drawback.

As previously stated, if I am a moron, I gladly accept the corrections and learning opportunity. Otherwise, is this something that can be fixed?

Great program of course. Keep it up!

Ultimate Power p86: "The duration of Super-Senses cannot be changed". I
believe you should use the Action drawback if you want to make it harder
to perceive something with your senses.

Hmm, looks like this one is my fault. Ultimate Power p146 says "The loss
of a Device and its effects is already included in the device's cost, so
the Power Loss drawback is not applicable in that case."

On first reading, I interpreted that to mean you could never take Power
Loss for a device; but it looks like you *can* take Power Loss, just not
to represent an 'easy to lose' device. The situation you're describing
would be an appropriate place to take it.

Thanks for the bug report - I'll get this fixed. :)

Thanks for the help. That makes sense why I could do it at first but not after the update. Cool. Thanks again.
