v4.3 #396 version update issue

hi, folks.

i had a problem with the last version and was given a beta to use.

with the recent update, i got an error (see image below) after compiling, then hl recompiled again and loaded ok. however, community bestiary is missing (not loaded somehow from this error?).

reverted back to beta but hl tells me data is usable only with new update.

deleted all data and used new update of hl; re-downloaded everything and still got same error.

PFRPG_Adjustments_frumple.user is a part of the community files (Community Bestiary Package I think, maybe others). The error message is telling you that the unique ID "pTransform" is now part of the official HL files and the community files. As a temporary fix, I used the editor to rename (new unique ID) the pTransform in PFRPG_Adjustments_frumple.user to "pCOMTransf". This eliminated the duplication issue.

There maybe unintended consequences to this as I do not know what else accesses the PFRPG_Adjustments_frumple.user version of pTransfrom and now it will access the new version. In that spirit, such results will have to be dealt with as they arise or in an update of the Community files.

Hope this helps.

would someone please send me last version of pathfinder.hl -- rolling back and current pathfinder.hl update wants to use hl update as well.

thanks.

This will work for now thanks SteelRat451.

The Transformation spell adjustment was officially added to HL and I guess we have a version in the CB that used the same id. In this case my fix will be to remove the adjustment and that way when a .por file loads it will now use the official version of the adjustment instead of the community version.

I will try to put out a new version of the CB and CPP this afternoon....

This is a issue with the Community Packages not HL/Pathfinder itself. No beta version for this. If you do what SteelRat451 suggests you will be back running right now. Otherwise I will have a fix out "soon" for everyone....

File: UC_Spell_Adjustments.user (line 19) - Thing - Duplicate Record Encountered ('trkAblBarr')
Not a community file. My guess is you installed the file that AndrewD2 did in THIS post. If so you will need to manually adjust the .user file as some of those same spell adjustments where added officially. In this case deleting the individual Things will work.

It would be nice if the pathfinder files already included those adjustments in there, so people in the community don't have to do it themselves. I mean I certainly appreciate the work involved in development but there are a whole host of things not available for hero lab such as the various polymorph spells such as beast shape and minor buff spells like Effortless Armor.

On a side note I found eliminating the special tracker you created eliminated the issue. Though I'm not sure what side effects that may have, it will load the file and what's more it seems to have taken care of my wild shape adjustments also.

The very reason you have the errors is because it was officially added. Also the file above was for LW not the community as it was to be officially added not as a community addon. Also why I never combined it into any of the community packages.

Thank You ShadowChemosh, for helping me fix it quickly. :D
