Is there a tutorial anywhere for this authoring kit? I'd like to make a few
card lists of my own for games that are currently not supported - namely
Doomtown. Anyone try this and how difficult is it to use?

Run through the checklist in the documentation. If you have problems,
ask a question. There quite a number of us who have picked up the authoring
kit, and with some help from Rob, have been able to add support for a game
and I'm sure we'd all be glad to help.

When you download the Kit, it comes with a set of html documentation that describes most things you need to know and Rob will help you out with the rest.

Do you have any kind of coding ability? If you do, then it is not too difficult
to create a translator to turn your data into the XML format that CV wants to
see.

The hard part is getting the data put together :)

I shall attempt this with the tools I have and see what come up. Expect more
questions. Thanks everyone.

Doomtown data, I should point out, has already been assembled. The XML
coding of said data is on the back burner.

If you have all the data in a tab delimited file, I can put modify my VBA/Excel
code to output the data pretty easily... but someone else gets to debug and
maintain it :P
