how do I make the contents of a .user file checkable in the configure hero menu? all .user files that I've downloaded from other peoples work show up there, but mine are automatically applied.
figured it out, never mine.

yep, figured it out eventually... thanks for the reply though

on to the next project... Can I remove all the pathfinder gods without removing the rest of their source material?

Even de-checking the core book gods doesn't help since most of the gods are now part of 2-3 sources at least.

Thanks again.

You can't remove selected content, but what you can do is create a new god, and add in the old Thing in the box Titled "replaces Thing ID". What this does is when the original Thing is loaded, such a sa deity, the new things you created will be displayed instead.

Yes there are two different ways actually. Inside there editor what you want to look at is the "*Preclude" tab and the "*Hidden" tab.

*Hidden is used just by inputting the Things unique ID and it will ALWAYS be hidden/removed.

*Preclude allows the same as *Hidden but only when a specific Source is check marked. So this way only when you have your "house rules" source check marked can will the different "Things" be removed.

For both ways it won't matter if the Thing is from one book or 20.

Hope that helps.
