I think that it would have to be the first but how and were to start making this happen, yikes.
Since the L5R system adds the wound damage and tracks it instead of most systems that reduce from a top end, I think that creating a new system is the best way to go.
I shall put that in my list to make happen but I am not sure were or how to start this. Back into the fire :)
