I see this posted from time to time but the threads never seem to go anywhere. The hero lab Character sheet is fine but are there any custom sheets out there? The biggest complaint we get about the printed sheets is there is no item/ weapon descriptions. No info on what your magic items do. I know Pathfinder has a sheet that gives the descriptions of items. This would save a lot of time shifting though all the books.
 
I'm not aware of any custom sheets made for 3.5. One option you could consider is cutting and pasting the info you need into the Journal and printing that out. Or you could just make a Word document with everything you need, and print that.
