Unique ID question

When you are assigning the Unique ID for a new recrd, are you required to use the Cxxxx? or can you assign the unique id any thing you want.

In the new record that I am creating I got the following error

Hero Lab was forced to stop compilation after the following errors were detected:

File: PFRPG_Greater_Stealth_Attack.user (line 3) - Thing - Invalid unique id

The requirement is that it is 10 characters long and is "Unique" compared to every single Thing ID in Pathfinder. Also you can't use special characters like "?". By default HL puts in a "?" when you do a new copy of something. So a feat would become "f?". Did you leave any "?" marks in a unique ID as that is the most common reason to get the above error.

The first few letters is just used by "humans" to try and keep track of what something is. "ra" Racial Special, "f" feat, "rc" Racial Custom Special, etc. But nothing in HL it self actually cares what the first few letters are.
