The tutorials for data editing have several errors:
1) In the race tutorial, when editing racial weapons for the Storm Elf example, the tutorial says that the Elf should have longsword and longbow, which you must clear. This is not true, the Elf has no racial weapons. Instead, the Elf has some bootstrap abilities including proficiency in these two weapons.
2) In the class tutorial, the wizard has an additional field not shown or mentioned in the tutorial (maximum levels).
 
Yes, I'm afraid some of the tutorials haven't been updated since the release of the Pathfinder files, and the way some things are handled has been changed. I'm sorry about this.
