Been a while since I played. I thought I could give my general, a beastlord, the mark of nurgle then put him in a chariot with the same mark. The rulebook I got says with the rules about marks that a chariot can be. Am I missing something or just reading wrong?

Keep in mind that I will ignore all replies of "that's stupid" or "why would anyone ever do that" because I agree. Beast Chariots have the Mark of Chaos Undivided and so characters with the Mark of Chaos Undivided may ride one, as per the rules of similiar marks, but once the character exchanges his mark for something different, say Nurgle, he cannot be mounted on a chariot with the mark of undivided. You would have to first give said chariot the Mark of Nurgle, which as you can see on the Beasts book on page 61, their is no Chaos Chariot Mark of Nurgle (or any other Chaos Chariot mark), thus no way to exchange the Mark of Undivided with something else.
 
Like I said... It has been a while since I've played and am just getting started again. Thanks for the reply. The first paragraph on the marks kind of misled me. Just wanted to get it right before I go converting up a beastlord of nurgle on a chariot. That blows, tho'. </3
