Tries to add an Eidolon ...

... but get the message that "This companion type is not allowed for Summoners".

Is there something more that needs to be added in order to allow this Eidolon, besides check the Eidolon type box. I looked at bootstraps and tags but I can't see anything obvious that needs to be added ...

Are you talking about a new eidolon base form (I.E. Quadruped, or Serpentine)? If so, make sure that the race has the CompList.cHelpSum tag.
