I am looking for help on how to add Helgarvel to the inventory of a PC and show the angel's lesser protective aura in the profile. I am talking about the Cassisian angel on page 24/25 of the Night of the Frozen Shadows.

Thanks for any help.
 
You'd probably best do this as an Adjustment or a magic item. You can create one in the Editor, on the Adjustment or Wondrous tab, and bootstrap that protective aura ability.
 
Game mechanics-wise, the benefits of the lesser protective aura are identical to the protection from evil spell, so if all you want are the correct bonuses, you can just use that spell adjustment.
