The Brawler and Spiked Armor

I'm trying to figure out how to equip my 1st level Pathfinder Society brawler with Armor Spikes on studded leather. I think I've figure out how to "build" the armor using the custom armor options, but for some reason it's not showing up as a legal option. The Core Rulebook lists spiked armor in the "Close" Fighter weapons group and the Advanced Class Guide says brawlers are proficient with "weapons from the close fighter weapon group" but it looks like Hero Lab only lists something called "armor spikes (rosewood)" as a proficiency? Am I doing something wrong? Misreading a rule?

It looks like the eval script which is granting proficiency with close weapons for brawlers wasn't catching armor spikes because they aren't normal weapons. Should be pretty easy to fix though, I'd submit a bug report about it. In the meantime, just ignore the warning and add the armor spikes anyway. From my tests, it doesn't look like they are getting non-proficiency penalties for brawlers anyway.
