I'm sure I asked this before, but I can't remember what the answer was.
Can anyone tell me what the mysterious red exclamation mark that
randomly appears on the validation screen does?

I don't remember seeing the red exclamation mark you're
talking about, how can I make it appear on my end?

Colen is talking about a red ! on the _validation_ screen, not the
one on the main screen. (Well I ASSUME that's what he was asking
because he should know damn well what causes the one on the main
screen!)

It means there is an item you have selected that causes conflict groups
to remove other items from the selection list.

So for example in the Necromunda files, the Free Knife causes a Red !
because it conflicts with itself and thus removes itself from the
selection list.
If you delete the Free Knife from a gangers items, the red ! disappears
and the Free Knife appears back in the selection list

Did I explain that well enough?

Er, huh? Please point me to what you are referring to, since I'm not
understanding this question. Do you mean the exlamation that appears on the
