Yep, there should be a "shadowrun" directory under where you save your character and they are all in there.
 
Cool, did not even know that, as I have my character portfolio's in a separate structure due to using hero lab in four games.

And yes while they are not balanced, or as effective, they are good for players who are new to the game and having a go for one night. Any more than that and I have a custom character built for them.
