Templar's Domain

If one builds a Templar, the Templar's Domain states this:
"Lose Healer's Lore, and instead gain a 1st level domain feature, but no powers from a divine domain of your choice."

Our Templar has chosen the Sun Domain:
"You gain a +2 bonus to death saving throws. While within 5 squares of you, your allies also gain this bonus. In addition, when you use your healing word, you or an ally in the burst regains 2 hit points. The hit points increase to 4 at 11th level and 6 at 21st level.
-
You also gain the following powers..." (which wouldn't be gained by a templar)

How would one select the Sun Domain as a Templar so that it would show up on the character sheet?

As far as I know, for Templars to gain any benefit associated with the domains their deity has, they need to take appropriate Domain feats.
