OK, so I just crashed my whole realm. I have sent the Master file to LWD and am hoping for a speedy fix. However, this makes me nervous about extensive use of tags. I created several custom tags in a "sources" category. I crashed the whole realm when I edited the name of one the created tags. Have others had issues of this sort? Tags seem to be intended as a central feature of RW, and therefore, I expected them to be solidly implemented and pretty big free. If changing the name of a tag can crash the whole realm so completely that it can't be opened again a requires a backup file or LWD intervention to fix I am nervous about continued use of custom tags. So, is this a wide spread problem or am I just the unlucky aberration?

I've got tons of tags as well, and haven't had an issue. Sounds to me like it is an edge case at best.
Leave it to me to find a way to break it 
Anyway, the error message I get when I try to open the realm is "Domain and tag lists must be valid or null". I have not synced the realm since this occurred -is there any chance syncing will help the problem? While I wait on LWD does anyone have any ideas? I could restore a backup and re-enter the lost hour and half of data entry.

Not sure if this is related to tags and sure that it'll be fixed soonMinor glitch.
There is a way to delete the local data of a realm ("Delete local Data Only" from the "Manage Realm Data" window). This will allow you to download the entire realm from the cloud again. (But you will lose any local changes you made on your laptop.)
Wouldn't restoring a back-up do the same thing?
I just wanted to say, that putting in Paranoia into RW strikes me as AMAZING and generous of the Computer. I would do this myself in a heartbeat if it wasn't for my simple Red security clearance. (that and not having a group that wants to play)
It sounded like the support department at LWD was going to take a few days to get to my problem so I restored a backup. I lost about 2 hours of data entry, but I'm up and running again. It was interesting that none of the auto back-up files were helpful. Even when I went back to a time prior to the problem, they failed to fix the issue. I had to go back to my last manual back-up. Does anyone know if the auto back-ups are somehow different from the manual ones? I ended up losing a bit more data than I expected. I do regular manual back-up though,. so that was good.
Only if it is your only realm that you have, since all realms are stored in a single master.realm database file.
