I have been a long-time user of Hero Lab. My PC laptop is currently about to die. I have a Mac Pro and would like to transfer my Hero Lab to my Mac Pro. Am I able to do this using the same licenses I have purchased for my PC Laptop? I mean, if I release the license from the laptop, will it work on my Hero Lab download for the Mac, or will I have to purchase a whole new license? ANy help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much. Now to begin the long process of transferring all my files over.

:)

Quick tip.

Open a drop box account.

Create a folder and move your herolab data files into it and anything else such as portfolios and custom art. Give things time to sync.

Install drop box on your Mac and sign into your dropbox account.

Wait patiently.

While waiting, install Herolab on your Mac.

Open your drop box folder and you'll find everything there waiting to be put in the proper place.

Abso-freaking-lutely. I use HeroLab on two different computers, and DropBox is awesome. If you already sync with Google Drive or OneDrive, those will work, too.

I put all my character portfolio files into drop box. This lets me keep character files in sync with my desktop and laptop computers. It also allows me to open those files for reading with the Android Herolab portfolio reader I have on my Kindle.
