Supporting "Core" PFS builds

Hey-o. I'm interested in rolling up a PFS-legal character for the newly-announced Core mode of play, and wonder if folks here could advise me on the best way of going about it.

First I left PFS toggled on (presumably that's what gets me the ability to enter my PFS # and causes Hero Lab to track progression using the organized play house rules for experience and so on). Then I went down through and manually unchecked everything except the Core deities and the web supplement traits. However, this left me with red flags all over the place, presumably because NOT using the extra options is illegal under the current defaults.

Is the best current option to just create a new PFS character as usual and try to be very careful not to use anything not in the Core Rulebook and the Web Traits Supplement? And finally, my real question, does Lone Wolf plan to roll out support for Core PFS play as an option at character creation?

Cheers,

Christopher

Eh, now I'm being told I must have done something wrong because other folks haven't had the same problem. So I suppose the point of this thread can be fined down to that last question.

Hi Christopher,

When you say you get "red flags" all over the place, do you see them reported on material from different supplements? If so, it's because that material is not available in Pathfinder Core games, so you'd need to remove it from your character to be Core-legal.

Hope this helps!
