Is it possible with the next update to have Hero Lab default the lists (i.e. weapons, feats, etc.) to "Only Valid Items" instead of "Everything". I know it's two clicks of the mouse, but I believe this would be a nice quality of life improvement for the software. Thanks!
 
In all honesty I prefer the list as it is with defaulting to everything and would rather it stays as it is. The only thing I would be able to see as an improvement would be the option for people to pick which they prefer in the software itself
 
If they had an option to pick the 'default' behavior would be best. But I like 'everything' actually. I know at least a few my players like it also as it allows them to know what they are missing to select a PrC or Feat...
 
I agree that the default should be selectable. In fact, the easiest way to implement this would be to simply keep the selection as it was the previous time the dialog was visited. So whichever one I select, it stays that way until I change it.

Save the selection state per hero and you have the perfect solution, since some PCs will use "only valid" for everything (I'm thinking PFS) and others will typically want "everything" (like character creation for home games).
