Suggestion - BRP rulesset

Have you all at Lone Wolf thought about maybe making a ruleset for BRP? I am a big BRP fan and would LOVE to be able to use Hero Lab with my BRP campaigns. I play BRP but not Call of Cthulu. You already did Call of Cthulu so it would be a very easy deal for you to make a BRP version from that groundwork. I would buy a BRP ruleset in a minute!

Actually, we've made multiple attempts to contact Chaosium about this very topic, but they haven't replied to our inquiries. We tried to arrange a meeting with them at GenCon, but we got crickets from them in response. Perhaps if some of you were to politely inquire about this on the Chaosium forums, they might get back to us and we can make BRP data files happen. We're also exploring whether we can add BRP support under our current license without requiring separate, explicit approval from Chaosium.

It looks like you could do BRP by copy CoC to a new game and modding the .users files. I am working on that right now and will post more info as the project advances.

Any progress on this? I'd be very interested in getting this to work correctly!

I think this is something that the user community would need to do. LW cant create the game system without the licensing rights. So see if you can get some folks together and create a project and create the files.

Have there been any developments on this? I may get a BRP sci-fi game going soon.

(update)
I just emailed Charlie from Chaosium on this asking him to consider a licensing agreement for Herolab. You can get hold of him here if you are so inclined:

Something must be happening, since I received an email for lone wolf about an upgrade to coc with support for BRP. Hooray !

Yes! We were able to secure permission for BRP support in Hero Lab. As we mentioned in the newsletter, it'll be added to the Call of Cthulhu game system data package.

We don't yet have a release date set, but we'll provide updates when we do. Additionally, we're looking for input on additional material for BRP and Call of Cthulhu. If you're interested in additional material for these games, let us know by completing our survey.

I notice that there are BRP features in CoC game files but it's missing the other powers like Mutations, Psi, Superpowers and Sorcery and the way the sheet is layout for CoC it would be confusing to add the other powers. would it easier to do a BRP game file on its own? You did it for M&M3e

Same here. I initially got the license for Savage Worlds and didn't like the system. I have started working on a BRP campaign and would love to have this.

Any update concerning bringing BRP to Hero?
I would love to design this but it's just so much to learn for one system. Would much rather throw money at one of the experts at authoring kit.
