Subbing attribute in feat prereq

frumple

Well-known member
Is there an equivalent for SkillOver for feats to use in prereqs?

For example, a feat has the prereq with #attrvalue[aSTR] and I want to change this prereq to use a different attribute (either due to a class skill, or template).

I believe prereqs have to be scripted to take that into account, you can't modify it from outside the object

Yeah, that is usually a case. I was wondering if the powers that be have implemented a tag or other method to overcome that.

Andrew is correct, you'd have to make your own version of the feat with the altered pre-req and then replace the original.

I was afraid of that. Looks like folks will have to ignore the error messages when the template I am working on is used.
