Ah, perfect. Thank you. How do I go about learning how to do all of this and build scripts from scratch? I remember going through the tutorials on the web site but if I remember correctly it only shows basics things.

The YouTube videos are worth watching as lots of good information hidden in them.

Otherwise the best way is to find Things that are similar and copy them to see how LW or the community did something. Use the debug tools to look at tags/fields. Many times its still a bit of trial and error even for myself.

The Authoring kit wiki is often helpful after you read it 3 or 4 times. :D ;)

Yeah learning the scripting language and how to enter objects is 70% copying existing code, 10% experimentation, 10% asking questions, 10% going through the wiki, and 10% frustration. (Yes I know that is 110% :))

i find it more like 40% frustration. lol

Yeah, but the rush you get when you get the code to do something you weren't even sure was possible? * Mwah * Magnifique!

Granted, as your mastery grows you'll run into those things less and less. I still remember how excited I was when I learned about foreaches. Ah, to be young again!

that rush is awesome for sure.

main frustration is i *know* something can be done, but i can't remember the wording i read on forum...and since i can't remember the wording exactly the forum search is a long and painful adventure...haha
