Spontaneous Spell Heightening in play

Okay, I use HLO to prepare three of our Playtest characters for the players but I don't use it in play, so maybe I'm missing something, but when I was looking at the new sorting of Heightened Spells on a Sorcerer (something that did not make it to the printout, I noted) I realized something.

How do you indicate a spell has been cast from a Spontaneously Heightened spell slot? Do you just pick a spell from the correct level and mark it there instead? I suppose since Spells Adjustments aren't automatic that works.

By the way, it would be really nice if there was something that indicated that a Spell was Spontaneously Heightenable, some up arrow symbol or maybe putting the name in italics. We are in the 17th Level chapter of Doomsday Dawn and thanks to Bloodline Heightening our Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer has nine of them.
