Hi folks. For my campaign world I created a variant magic system that I call Lucidity in which clerics and druids are types of magician, along with conjurers, necromancer, mages, enchanters, and wizards. All are spellbook casters. I created six "Crafts" schools, one of which is priestcraft, another druidic lore, and reclassified all the spells accordingly. I made sorcerers wisdom casters. I collapsed the arcane/divine divide making it all arcane. Most things are working as planned, with some tweaking as bugs are discovered of course, but I'm having two particular problems that I am wondering if you might know how to solve, or if they are bugs in Hero Lab?
First, I can't get Hero Lab to print the spellbook contents for the magicians. The spellbook works and is full of spells but won't print or show up in preview, whiuch is a problem for playing.
The other problem is with their domain spells. I can't get the bonus spells to work, it says there is no spellbook to link to even though there is, though I’d prefer it to access the actual spells for the domain. I'd even be happy if I could suppress the bonus spell option that comes up with the domain. Also is there a way to get it to print the domain ability description? At least if we had that we wouldn't care about it not adding the spells in the bonus spell area. Oh, and I turned off and erased everything in the secondary spell area for them in order to try and suppress this section and it worked until you select the domain, then the section is back.
Anyway those are the problems. I have attached the user file. Any advice or answers would be appreciated.
Thanks
