Spellbane Not Available

Hey Everyone, I'm building a dwarven lvl 1 exocortex mechanic and I want to take the spellbane feat, but i keep getting an error saying I must be unable to cast spells or use spell-like abilities. As far as I know, i can't do any spells of any fashion and I can not for the life of me find what its referring to.

Would anyone here have an idea as to why I can't do the thing?
 
Hey nimbusbuster, welcome to the boards! I just built a dwarven level one exocortex mechanic and it allowed me the spellbane feat.

What is the other feat you chose for that character?
