Then just call them Magic Points, that should work, shouldn't it? ;-)
The problem is though you would need to modify the character sheet, and this is not possible with the editor right now.

Even though Spell Points aren't in the SRD, we can still implement them - we couldn't include the text from the DMG to do so, but the mechanics of how things work can't be copyrighted, so we can still implement them in Hero Lab.

BTW: Did you have a look at my other suggestions (I sent them to Liz as well as posted them to the forum). Especially the one that (as an option) Power Cards are only printed for those powers where no GF9 printed cards exist (to make the sheet smaller) and for the Dmg of spells listed on Sheet Page 1 (as with my private 5e implementation, I included a screenshot) ?
