I am wondering if it is possible to make a spell list much the same as is done in HeroForge/SpellForge.
Not everyone takes their laptop to the game table and let's face it, HeroLab is very much laptop oriented. Creating a character and choosing spells for a spell caster is done easily enough when one uses the program on a laptop, but there are still many that prefer to play with pencil and paper.
HeroForge/SpellForge lists the spells a spell caster can cast, the number the spell caster can cast, the DC for each spell (if applicable) and a brief description of each spell. For example, a X level Cleric can cast 4 1st level spells. HF/SF would list ALL the spells for the cleric s/he can cast. In this instance, only 1st level spells would be listed, and then when the game commenced, the player would then choose which of these spells s/he can cast.
As a separate sheet, this would be a boon for many spell casters as they would be able to print out their available spells, then choose which ones they might be able to cast.
Is this feasible? I'm sure it would be a benefit to players who choose NOT to bring their laptops to the gaming table.
