Smart image map doesn't show to players view

Hello.

I bought this beautiful program and I am in the process of learning it. Unfortunately I have hit a problem in what I thought it would be very basic. I have a jpg of a map which I insert in realm works as a smart image. I want to use pins on it so players can log in with their player editions and ponder over the map and the revealed places.

The problem is that no matter what I do I can't get the map to show in the player view or when I enter player mode to see what the players would be seeing. A simple image works fine but with the smart one I just get a black screen.

I feel I am missing something obvious but I can't figure out what. Any help would be appreciated.

you need to reveal it in the fog of war.
then save
then it will show up for them

that's the difference between a "smart" map and a picture, the fog of war.

In the smart image there's a button that shows the shadow view. Click this and you will see that the whole image is dark I dictating not visible to the players. Use the other buttons to reveal portion of the map to the players.

By the way, is there a way to load a different smart map without deleting the snippet?

In edit mode where the snippet exists. Not the preview if the image. There's a button to clear the image letting you load a new one.

Are you sure? In my smart image, when I go to edit, there is only one button next to it which says "click to view".

Edit the page that the snipped is on and more options should appear.
