Should links in the player view work?

I could not find this in either the manuals, videos or this forum.

Not only links, but also pins in maps do not show their roll-over text.
It is frustrating for the players not knowing what pin is which in a town.

Any suggestions for possible workarounds would be appreciated.
 
As I understand it, the player view is a "snapshot" of the revealed info. There is no functionality to links in it, just as there wouldn't be in a screenshot of a web page.

I believe this is in the requested features, so might appear at some point, but once the player version goes live (seriously, I'm going to buy it for my players if they can't do it themselves) this function will be somewhat redundant. Even more so when web view comes about.
 
When I release a topic to players that hold an image / map(that is revealed too), I have to open both, it would be great if I could access the maps / images that are visible in the player view , from there and choose easily to display / not display them.

Right now it's too many extra steps to handle this quickly I think.
