ShadowRun 6 - Spending Karma During Character Creation

I was playing with (and ultimately bought) the SR6 package last night. For a first release it looks pretty well done. I love the visual styling and overall general layout.

One thing I wasn't able to figure out was how to spend my 50 starting karma during character creation. Is this possible and if so how?
 
You can simply overspend on the various tabs, and HL will calculate the most efficient place to spend karma to make that work - for example, if you use spend 17 / 16 attribute points, it will figure out where the cheapest place is to buy an attribute point with karma instead of with one of the attribute points.
