Separating Animal Companion/Familiars

frumple

Well-known member
Is there an easy way to have a por file with just a character's animal companion or familiar, or will I need to make a bunch of custom adjustments?

There is not, since animal companions/familiars are linked to their master they must share the same portfolio. Why do you want them in a seperate portfolio?

There's a case in Rise of the Runelords where the PCs meet an Animal Companion separated from its master. In preparing Encounter-based portfolios, that would be a situation where the Companion alone would be desired.

Not just RotRL. Quite a few of the other APs and modules have encounters with companion/familiar independent of master.
