Selection not showing

Hello,

I am trying to add a new Pathfinder trait in the Editor, but I am having the problem that one of the choices is not showing in the Item Selection dropdown.

In the Item Selection I have entered, "thingid.skKnowGeog|thingid.skSurvival" (no quotes), in the Custom Expression field. The trait tests ok, but when I select it on a character I only see 'Survival' as a choice and not 'Knowledge (geography)'. I also have this problem when I use "thingid.skKnowLoc".

Any help here would be more than appreciated.

Had you added the Knowledge skills to the character on the Skills tab? If they're not visible on that tab, then they won't show in dropdown lists. This has caught me a few times.
 
Found out how to force this, set the 'Restrict xxxxx list' to 'All things' and the choices show.

Yes, but if you're looking at things, you're looking at read-only things. You couldn't apply a +2 bonus to a selected thing - you need to use "Picks on Hero" if you want to make a change to the selected thing.

(without some complex searching to find a pick based on knowing a thing).
