Rogue needs Composite Shortbow added to proficiency

Hi all

I guess the subject kind of says it all. I have a rogue character trying to use a composite shortbow +1, but it says I am not proficient with the weapon.

I tried using the editor to go into the Rogue Class thing, and found where to add the checkmark to allow Composite Shortbow, but I don't know how to compile, it is just giving me an error saying the dat file is in the incorrect folder.

So if that could be fixed in the next dat file I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

It looks like they've got some odd programming on the Composite Shortbow to make it count as Shortbow proficiency, but they missed something, so it counts as proficient when selected (note that it's in white, not grey), but it loses that once selected.

The easiest way around it for now is to go to the in-play tab, add an in-play adjustment, and you'll find weapon proficiency at the bottom of the list. Select that and change the field to Composite Shortbow.

The reason it won't compile is that users aren't allowed to modify the files directly - only replace specific items and add on their own. On any panel in the editor, look at the "Replaces Thing ID" box - fill that in, and the program uses your new version instead of the normal version (but never deletes the old one, in case you change your mind, or your new DM likes SRD vs. the house rules you used last time).

Thanks for the bug report - we'll get this fixed.
