Ring of Revelation

There's an argument frothing and foaming over at the paizo forums about whether a non-oracle can use UMD to access an oracle revelation through this ring. I don't want to drag this over to here.

However, I am in the camp that it is UMDable and would like to know how, if at all, I could I could modify the item/make an item to add a revelation to, say, a sorcerer or wizard (ignoring having a box under in-play for the 'passed UMD check' for the moment).

Would this be easy(ish) to do? Just idly posting before bed; I'll have a crack at it tomorrow
